Since 1 September will be penalties for speeding in Austria harder
On 1 September is the new road safety package entered into force. Lawn can now be quite expensive. 30 km / h too much on the road now costs at least 70th - Euro. Here is a small excerpt of the cost of speeding:
On highways (more than 130 km / h):
Speeding up to 10 km / h over limit is € 20, - Organ mandate on the spot € 30, - Anonymverfügung
11 to 20 km / h over limit is € 35, - Organ mandate € 45, - Anonymverfügung
21 to 30 km / h over limit is € 50, - Organ mandate € 60, - Anonymverfügung
On all streets:
Speeding - faster than 30 km / h € 70, - Organ mandate over limit: € 70, - to € 2.180, - Administrative Punishment
In built-up areas: speeding more than 40 km / h at least € 150, - to € 2.180, - over limit
On country roads: Flashed with more than 50 km / h as permitted - at least € 150, - to € 2.180, - over limit
Exceeding the design speed for Motor Vehicles: possible at 21 to 30 km / h € 70, - Organ mandate in place
With more than 40 km / h in built-up areas and more than 50 km / h on dual carriage over limit plus an administrative sanction threatened for the first time: withdrawal be confiscated for 2 weeks. If they recur within 2 years can be confiscated for 6 weeks withdrawal, possible contract for retraining. Other violations within 2 years: 3 months license withdrawal
Children in the car back
Offense: child is not secured with a child seat or seat cushion, or (for larger children) seatbelt or not misused. (Theoretical) punishment: up to € 5.000, - flag
Drunk driving
0.5 to 0.79 per thousand administrative penalty (penalty € 300, - to € 3.700, -) flag in the license tab
0.8 to 1.19 per thousand or proven ability to drive impaired by alcohol or drugs: Administrative Penalty (penalty € 800, - to € 3.700, -)
Driving license withdrawal (initial commit) for 1 month, at least three months traffic, placement of a traffic coaching
